How does the Study–Work Path work?
LifePath3 turns a confusing study or career question into a visual roadmap. Start with your current situation, choose your filters, explore possible stages, and open the details that show what each path requires.
The page answers one practical question
"I am here now — what study or work path can I take, and what do I need to understand before choosing?"
Set your starting point
Choose your situation, field, education level, and interests in the left panel.
Explore the journey map
The middle panel shows stages such as Bachelor's, Master's, and PhD / Specialize.
Open details
The right panel explains the selected subject, skills, topics, stats, and requirements.
Create your path
Use the result to decide the next study step, skill focus, or career direction.
Three Panels, One Workspace
The main workspace is split into three panels that work together:
Left panel — Filters. This is where you define your journey. Select your user type, choose the stage you are at, pick a field or industry, and apply any other relevant criteria. Every selection updates the roadmap instantly.
Centre panel — Roadmap. This is the visual core of the page. It shows your path as a series of columns, one per stage. Each column contains items — subjects, roles, or milestones — that match your filters. You can add or remove stages, adjust the density of the view, and scroll through the full path.
Right panel — Detail. Click any item in the roadmap and this panel opens with full detail: what the subject or role involves, what prerequisites or context apply, and links to go deeper. Both side panels can collapse if you want more space for the roadmap itself.
From here, you can dig deeper into any option by opening its Detail panel, or, once you've selected what fits, move straight to Create your path.
Step by Step
1. Choose Study or Work
Switch between Study mode and Work mode to tell the platform whether you are planning an academic path or building a career roadmap.

Define who you are — for example a student, a career switcher, or someone entering a new field — so the roadmap reflects your starting point.
Left panel3. Pick Your Stages
Use the left filter panel to choose the stages of your journey: field, industry, level, and other relevant criteria. You can add or remove stages freely.
Filters4. Explore the Roadmap
The centre panel builds a visual column-by-column roadmap in real time. Each column is a stage; each item inside is a subject or role you can explore.
Middle panel5. Click Any Node for Detail
Select an item in the roadmap to open the right-hand detail panel. It shows everything relevant to that subject or role — requirements, context, and next steps.
Right panel6. Go Deeper
From the detail panel you can open the full subject or role page to get complete information, then continue building your path or book a mentor session.

Career track — Computer Science
Follows the platform's own study-to-career progression: a degree leads into a matching graduate specialization, which opens directly into a senior industry role.
Research track — Mechanical Engineering
The same structure can lead into academic research instead of industry: a degree leads into a matching graduate program, then into doctoral specialization.

A Few Things Worth Knowing
The roadmap is generated dynamically based on your selections — it is not a static page. Change a filter and the path updates immediately, so you can explore different directions without starting over.
The guide bar at the top of the page shows you which step of the process you are on and what to do next. It is especially useful the first time you use the page.
If you find a field or role that interests you but want advice from someone who has been through it, you can go directly from any detail panel to the Mentors page and find a person with that exact background.
